The Bisou version
Your doors stay yours. In return, we just ask you to be kind: nothing illegal, nothing hurtful.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Bisou app and the bisouapp.com website, published by [company name]. By creating an account or opening a calendar, you accept them.
2. The service
Bisou lets you make a 24-door Advent calendar (notes, photos, voice messages, songs, videos, vouchers, places, riddles), send it by link or QR code, then open one door a day in the Bisou app, on iPhone and Android.
3. Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address. The person receiving a calendar can also use a guest account. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for access to your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings > My account: deletion is immediate.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put in your doors. You only grant us the right to host it, process it technically and show it to the person you give the calendar to (and to the people you fill it with), for as long as the service requires.
You confirm you have the right to use this content, including other people's photos and voices. Songs are clips provided by third-party services (Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer) under their own terms.
5. What is not allowed
Any content that is illegal, hateful, violent, harassing, invades someone's privacy or infringes their rights, and any impersonation. Any sexual content involving a minor is strictly prohibited and reported to the authorities.
The “naughty” tone is reserved for calendars between consenting adults.
6. Reporting and moderation
You can report content from the app or at contact@bisouapp.com. We may remove clearly illegal content and suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.
7. Invitation links
A calendar link is personal: the first person to accept it becomes its recipient. Don't post it online. If the link has already been used, ask the person who made the calendar for a new one.
8. Availability and liability
We do everything we can to make every door open on time, but the service also depends on app stores, networks and notification systems. Our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes and termination
These terms may change; we will let you know before any significant change. You can stop using Bisou and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If there is a dispute, write to us first and we will look for an amicable solution. You can also use the consumer mediator [mediator name and contact details] free of charge.
