The Bisou version
Your love notes stay between the two of you. We keep them safe, we don't read them, we don't sell them.
1. In short
Bisou lets you make and give an Advent calendar. Your content belongs to you: we don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and only you and the person you give it to can see it.
2. Who we are
Data controller: [company name], [address], [company registration number]. Contact: contact@bisouapp.com.

3. The data we collect
Account: email, name, Apple or Google identifier. Door content: text, photos, videos, voice messages, chosen songs. Usage: doors opened, reactions, notification preferences. Payment: handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your card.
Technical data: device model, app version, language, time zone, notification token and usage statistics measured without advertising cookies.
The person receiving a calendar can open it without creating an account: they are then given a “guest” identifier tied to their device.
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. A calendar can be given to a child, who opens it under the responsibility of the adult giving it.
4. Why we use it
To run the calendar (creating, sending, opening at the chosen times), send the notifications and reminders you turned on, and provide security and support.
Legal bases: performance of the contract (the service you use), your consent for notifications and reminder emails (which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interest in security, abuse prevention and anonymous audience statistics, and our legal obligations (accounting, responding to authorities).
No automated decision with legal effects is ever made about you.
6. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. A finished calendar stays available until you delete it. Account deletion: data erased within 30 days.
One-time doors are erased as soon as they close. Purchase records are kept for 10 years to meet our accounting obligations. Guest accounts inactive for 2 years are deleted.
7. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection. Write to us, or delete your account directly from Settings > My account. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or with your local authority.
You can also restrict processing, withdraw your consent at any time and leave instructions about what happens to your data after your death. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
